How many teeth blade?

How many tooth blade do you guys use to cut birch? I was cutting yesterday and it was going ok, but today its like the wood is bogging down the circular saw motor, and its just having a hard *** time cutting it, and its burning hte wood on the sides and shit.

I use 44-60, whatever's in the saw at the time. You don't want to use a rough cut blade as it'll splinter the ends.

Usually only bogs down if you're not holding the wood square of the blade is dull.

yeah make sure you use a guide to make straight cuts because if there is force on the side of the blade it will struggle. Dull blades are also good at burning wood. To much friction and not enough cutting. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
