How many speakers to keep up with 4000+wrms of bass?

Stupid question... '4kw of bass' is not a measurement of sound //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

But for a reference, I have 3kw and an 18 4HP and I can hear the words with my factory speakers.

How is it a stupid question
Because no one in the universe can tell you how loud 4000 watts will be. Because 4000 watts is a power rating, not a measurement of sound. No not even god can tell you, he would slap you.

Please try and use a bit of common sense before making a thread. It will benefit you and the rest of the members.

I have around 800 to my highs/mids and 2500 to my sub. Blends well.

Of course I don't really use all that power daily. But lets just say there is plenty of head room.

Thats what i was looking for ,im just trying to see how many watts people are using for their mids/highs with 2500-4000+w to their subs

i have the other 4hp......I use only 2 tweeters and two 5.25" midbasses with it, and thats it....they are only fed with about 100 per channel and its blisteringly fvcking loud. Allthough, admittedly it could be louder //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Probably should have made your question "what power levels are you running?"

I don't use the full 800 watts. I would be deaf. I use much less;) like mentioned head room.
