how many speakers can i run off my amp?

I just got a 4 channel RF amp. a p-400-4. can i run 4 6x9's in the doors and 4 tweeters as well on the amp?

all depends on the impedance of the speakers and impedance stability of your amp.

You can run as many speakers as you want to an amp as long as the final impedance is still within the amp's specs. However a bunch of speakers wired together has higher inductance so your amp may get hotter than usual.

Technically yes, but why would you? Aside from just getting loud?

You might be better off with multiple amps fine sir. Like they said it depends on the impedance of the speakers and how stable your amp is. assuming the amp is 2ohm stable and the speakers are four ohm you could run two speakers in parallel per channel.
