How many runs of wire front to back?

Amps:

Crescendo- bc5500d (1ohm)

C1100.4 (x2) (1 amp all channels at 2 ohms, 2nd amp both channels bridged at 4 ohms)

Zapco ref 360.4 ( all channels at 4 ohms)

How many runs of positive and negative should I do from front to back.. I was thinking two, singer has an alt that will be around 300amps mechman has a 270, so lets say I'll have 270.. I'm replacing my kinetik hc2000 under the hood for a d6500 and for my bank I'm using 3 xs xp3000's...

I have 100ft of knu fleks already to do anymore than 1 run of both. ill need another 100ft.. Lemme know what y'all think I should do..

 
Yep 2 each from front to back. Don't skimp out on the wiring in the back either. Get the biggest alternator you can fit. You are going to be drawing quite a bit of current.

 
If you don't want to buy more wire, I would do 2 runs of positive, one run of negative and a chassis ground in the back with upgraded big 3 under the hood.

Personally I'd just get more wire and do 2 runs of each AND chassis grounds, but I like overkill.

I'm not big on the front to back grounds personally, but that is just me lol.

Same, just extra weight, money and resistance in a daily setup. If the chassis/frame ground is proper, and there are good grounds up front and in back there is no need to run grounds all across the vehicle. This wire will also carry the most load (lowest voltage) and therefore the most heat. That is why

Needing short grounds is just a myth. The only time a short ground wire works well is if the chassis is able to carry the amount of current needed easily. I don't run any chassis grounds in my daily truck and I have 3kw on tap.
 
My original plan was to run two of each front to back, then on the batts about two runs between each then from there too a 8 hole Buss bar from project db I got quad inputs on my bc5500 which I have already then run the 4 gauge runs to each of my 1100.4s then the 8 gauge run to the Zapco.....

Then for the ground distribution I was gonna run (total of 8 runs) into the block 4.straight from negative on battery and 4.straight to frame.. then 4 grounds to the 5500 then the rest to the others obviously...

Question is, is it right? will wit work?

i would do 3 runs each (3-pos 3-neg)

 
Yeah two runs each is definitely not overkill. I'd go 2-3 runs each. I would think 4 is not needed, but if you got the cash and the space, it's not going to hurt anything.

 
the frame on my truck was a ****** ground....sometimes it's ok, sometimes it's not

I have the same amp wired to .35 and I did 3 runs of each

similar electrical otherwise. 270a alt, 3 3100's in the back, 3100 under the hood
