How many Pre amp RCA outs do i need?

You'll need Front, Rear, and Sub. Although some amps only have Front and Rear inputs, those model take from those signals for the sub. Also i would go with the Clarion. Clarion is much more of a reputable company then Dual. BTW, i don't think he's wasting his money. He's just alittle misinformed about car audio. There's nothing wrong with that. No one waste's money upgrading their cars no matter what they do. It's all about what you want and get out of it.
