I love my job as a firefighter (work 9 days a month) and used to LOVE the money but they cut out all OT. If I went in to work 1 day of OT, that would be 600$ off the bat. I used to get 3-4 days a month on top of my normal salary. I'm at a busy station so we make plenty of fires. The ONLY thing that sucks about my job is the ambulance. That SOB runs ALL day and ALL night long, with shit ranging from stumped toes to gunshots. I have to ride the ambulance 3 days a month we call her/it Hell B!tch
