currently i have on L7 in a 4.5 cu ft inclosure. should I bump it up to 6 cu ft with a bigger amp and call it a day? would 2 L7's in a ported box be able to fit and still sound crazy in my trunk? (99 intrepid) or would 3 L7's in a sealed box work the best?

I had two L5 15's in a ported box for about 20 minutes before they blew up (shoulda got l7's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif) it was CRAAAAZY loud, as in, couldn't see out of my rear view mirror, and struggling to breathe loud.

Two l7's with enough power would be disgusting.

do it!!!

and you should look around for the box design where the two subs are sitting on top, and the port-tubes run from the top-rear of the inside of the box, and run down and out the front below the subs. It's a nice compact design, i think each sub only had 3 cubes each, but it was tuned to 38hz, and sounded amazing.
