How many different ways can you wire a pair of dual 1 subs?

My buddy has a pair of DD9518s, and hes getting a new amp tomorrow, and i'm wondering how many different ways he can wire this thing. I'm aware of .25 and 1, but are there any other ways? He showed me a diagram of how it could wire to 4 ohms, which i was not aware of at all.

Pretty sure your not gonna wire a 1 ohm sub to 4 ohms

Not unless its that focal quad voice coil sub but even that I think is quad 2 ohms

Its a beautiful thing I tell yah

A bit pricey but sexy as hell and it sounds incredible my buddy has 2 in his vr6 and they are by far the nicest sounding subs I have ever hear

They reproduce music superbly

Sorry they are quad one's but think they also come in quad two's
