i have a reg cab with a stock 8 speaker system. i added two sony xplod 10's p5 to the mix sending 175 watts to each sub. both in a 0.7 cubic inch sealed box. bout how many db's u think this makes....jus need a good educated guesstimate...thanx

the best way to determine dbs is to go get it metered yourself. we really can't guess at a number since we have no idea about how good the install is. considering you have smalled sealed enclousres that will lower your db's. also sony subs kinda **** i know i used to have them and they weren't loud at all so don't expect to hit too high.

120-130 for 10" Sony's in 0.7 cubes with 175 watts... no way. More like 110-115, if you really want some SPL try getting some new 12" subs with at lest 300WRMS. Not to say there is anything wrong with what you got, to all their own but Sony is not a high quality car audio maker.

Don't underestimate. I have a regular cab s-10, and my old system consisted of 2 10" MTX 4000's in .6-.7 cubes a piece and a MTX Blue Thunder amp pushing 125x2 to the subs. I hit 128 on an audiocontrol, so he's probably in the same area as my old setup.

Meh, there's lots of options for regular cabs.

'Laffed' ? Man, I love it.

He's laughing at you because it's cubic FEET, not inches. If you had a .7 cubic inch box it would probably be able to hold a couple quarters.

Why not more then 130... I did with one 12" pioneer sub (160W) and one noname amp (100W) 136,3db //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif wiht new termlab... but pj2003 has two 10"... but it all depends on many many things, you just have to go and measure it.
