once i get the amp, im gunna run it at 4 ohm to start out and c how well the idmax does ofo of the 400 watts given to it.

also im prolly gunna take t to a shop with a meter and video tape it

i got my id max in the mail, and my vfl 150 is comin soon, i know its alota poer since im runnin at 1 ohm but if the id max is good ima get another then run at .5 and get 1000 to each,
with a pathfinder and a deadned trunk and roof, in a ported box tuned to 34 what do u think the max db id hit at the dash would be

im realy anxious to hear this sub that poeple say are as loud as a w7 and clear as a w6

honestly the idmax has no problem getting loud, you just need to watch the gain on the amp. they are very good woofers when they are ran within there limits. step just a little past there limit and they wont like it. i ran a single 12 off a sundown 1500d@ 2 ohm so my sub saw roughly 900rms on a good day. It got loud but i was pushing the sub to its limits and it didnt last long. 2 in the proper size vented box with about 5-600 per woofer is the max i would throw to them!

im hopn ill get more then 400 at 4 ohms, but if it says 400 then i guess itl just be 400 and not much more
