how many Db's will i gainn ??

If i do one layer of second skin Damplifier Pro on my whole car except under the hood and if i upgrade my factory stereo to Kenwood KDC-x995 ?? will it make a lot of diff in spl and sq ?? i have 3 10's Jl W6 v2 Audio Subs ,Slash 1000.1v2 amp ,slash 300/4 amp, focal 165v30 components and 2 yellowtops btw

Upgrading the HU should up your SQ, and deadening will help with rattles and mid bass from your doors. It would be impossible to calculate how many dB's you will gain as there are a limitless amount of factors, but you might go up on the meter if that's what you are concerned with

How you know its all stock? Just saying... People add subs to stock systems all the time...

It will increase your spl and sq yes...but its impossible to tell you how much if any SPL gain it will give you. SQ I can 100% assure you it will help a ton...SPL on the other hand...probably not that much, but if spl is your goal than deadening and upgrading equipment is necessary...But I guess if you want to go by my experiences with sound deadner then I gained over 2 almost 3 db when I deadened my roof and doors (3 layers on each)

It isnt a 100% guarantee it will gain you as much as I gained in my vehicle, but like I said if you want SPL numbers its a necessary step.

Just do it.

which deadener did you use ?? and did you just use it on the doors and roof and gained that much ??
