How many db's have you endured???

Very true. Peolpe running over 130db dont usually sit in the car while its playing. When I started car audio 130-135 was high. I worry about guys easily hitting the 140's and 150's now. I hope you guys dont listen to music that loud. You will be deef in a few years if you do.

I got to sit in Bob Perillos van at Audio Thunder with the doors open 156+ that was pretty impressive. Daily I run around 150ish playin music with the windows down. LOL

Probably 120+ db's for 4 hours back in the late 70's at a Sammy Hager (opening act) / Boston concert sitting right in front of the tower speakers.

I actually went deaf after the first 15-20 minutes of Sammy's opening act (in Bad Motor Scooter if I remember correctly) and completely missed hearing the rest of his set and all of Boston.

Took 3 days for my hearing to start coming back.

ive heard 135,way too much for me for daily.hell i thought i wanted louder than what i have with my 1 cvx in my small hatch.until i started noticeing a little deafening after i get out.my mazda 3 is similar to a crx in terms of cabin gain.so 1 is plenty for me.

Loud concerts are no joke. That stuff is worse than a car stereo because of the frequencies played.

I went to a KISS concert a few years ago and afterwards my hearing was pretty messed up. A car stereo has never done that to me.

X2 the treble and mids keep your ears ringing for a long time. I went to a concert a few months ago, terrible on my ears. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

lol, remember that crazy kid at the show that sat in Bob's van when he was Bass Racing at 161 db's? Now that was stupid, he was saying he felt like he was gonna hurl and he was dizzy, I doubt his little earplugs did much for his brain rattle. I think I have the vid of that on my Myspace page.

Loudest I sit in was 153ish on music, and it could pound the lows.

Think he burped around a 157 in the kick. I don't remember exact numbers.

4 Kicker ZX 2500.1s

8 12" L7s walled off in a Dodge Quad Cab Truck

I didn't stay in the vehicle for long. It was crazy.
