I understood that as 3326.x peak at .5 strapped with rise to 1.5

So rougly 1600 an amp is how I took it, not 3326 an amp

I dunno about with a yellow top... but i was running ~ 2400w off one battery... non-optima... it was a Orbital Exide Select.. Not even the Extreme Deep Cycle... I kept it in there for ~3 months... Every once in a while after hard wanging i would need to turn the volume down and let the alt recharge both front and rear batts but other than that it worked fine.

yea spend a lil more for the 3000, stable amps make good power for the money. If you could hold a solid 13.5 volts or better it could make 1500 watts or so. On 16 volts I was getting a lil less than 2000 out of each amp at 1.9ohms after rise, .7 nominal.
