go with the 3 12's JL 12w6v1s...they are nice..they are dual 6's...wired up to 1 or 4 ohm load...depending on your amp..3 of them run around $300

as long as the total impedance isn't below the rated impedance rating of the amp, it'll be fine
a 1 ohm stable amp can run at 1 ohm, 1.1 ohm, 1.4829898710973409872 ohms if you want

just so long as it's not lower than 1, it'll be fine

MOST 1 ohm stable amps can run below 1 ohm, too

most voicecoil impedances are lower than nominal, anyways

a 4 ohm voicecoil is usually between 3.5-4

SVC= Single Voice Coil

DVC= Dual Voice Coil

One question according to the JL site there are 2 versions of the 12w1v2 in either 4ohm or 8ohm both SVC. I'm guessing you have a 4ohm and in that case if you got 2 more of them for a 3 sub setup you would be looking at the first case scenario with 3 SVC subs wired up to be a 1.34 ohm load. So you would be looking for a amp that would be 1ohm stable and put out about 450w RMS and a box with at the least 3.75 cubic feet of volume before sub displacement according to the JL recomended sealed volume of 1.25 per sub. I don't know too much about the good stuff these days but Hifonics seems to get good reviews and they are light on the wallet, so maybe get the 2 subs and this Hifonics Warrior Merlin it puts out 450w @ 1ohm.

Ya, looks great!!

Although, it doesnt say its capable of a 1ohm load. I was thinking maybe go with one of the higher end ones that do like 1000, 1200. but then again with my speakers amped and only have a 90amp alt idk if i can pull that much power.
