how is my setup?

Tell me if this would all work.... 2 12" Phoenix Gold Ti12D Elite Subwoofer's, 2 Phoenix Gold Octane-R R15.0:1 amps, a yellow top battery, 300 and up watt alternator, and a custom made box. ANy suggestions or problems you see, please let me know. Thanx

300amp alternator? Where are you getting that done at? I hope its no locally cause thats gonna cost quite a penny

i doubt its that big

he probably means it will be able to handle 300 rms or something.

1)where you are getting an alternator that big

2)what head unit you will be using.

otherwise that should be a killer setup...not cheap, but still, very nice.

kevin, i can do a line output converter, but those are neer as good as a HU.. also, around here the biggest ur gonna find is 250 tops, 200 is really common though..

hu=head unit (cd player etc...).

as far as alternators go...their out put is measured im amperes, not watts.

you have to look around a little bit. look for a 200amp alternator at the least. should cost ~$250.

I know seriously Nate where are you finding a 200amp alt for 250$? Shit from domick its 359 for a 200amp alt, and on ebay its 250$ for a 150amp alt. I really would like to know this lol, cause for 250$ ill buy one today lol.

I dont mean to be mean here man, but if you Dont know what HU means, i dunno if you should get that kind of setup? What type of headunit are you going to go with? Are you installing it by yourself? How much is all that going to cost?
