How I recone a sub

Thor, I actually did "fill" the joint on the last ones, but I was really trying to keep MMS down to a bare minimum on these. Also I sort of hope if I decide to scrap these before I burn the coils I can release the CA glue with some acetone and re-use the coils for another project. IF these end up failing mechanically there I'll report here and build accordingly in future.

If you ever come back to this thread LMK what kind of epoxy you use please. I was actually hoping to have a good informative thread with different tips, tricks, techniques, and pictures. Everybody please post more with descriptions of what you're doing and why. There's so little info on this out there.

Op- nice job on the tutorial per say. Isnt there a mathmatical formula for setting the depth of the coil down in to the gap? I thought it was center of the ww minus top plate thickness or something like that.

I could be way off, but it seems everything I've seen is pretty much center of coil at center of top plate. Again, easiest way to be sure is just to follow whatever it looked like from the manufacturer. If anyone knows for sure post here.

They all say they are in stock but they aren't. Just like my SSA Zcons and Evils were "in stock" but had a super long build time.
