How good will this bump 06 S15L7's?

I have just bought a new amp after returning the old lanzar piece of trash.

It is a Phoenix Gold R15.0 class D mono amplifier. What is strange is that is has 1000 watts rms at 2 ohms. Not 1 ohm stable, and it is not bridgeable.

How would I hook my dual (2 ohm..that's 4 ohms total per subwoofer) voice coiled L7 15" 06 kickers so that it runs at optimum level without me dropping the ohms too low or not getting enough power. That was my second question.

True, but I saw my specifications. My L7's are currently hooked to work at 2 ohms from what I have been told. So, 2 ohms 1000 watts rms exactly what is required for the speakers. Yet it says not bridgeable. So I needed some help with the wiring if anyone was willing to give a little bit of input.

If the subs are dual 4 you only have two choices...

1 wire them at 1 ohm and watch your amp fry.

2 wire them at 4 ohms and feed each sub like 300 watts... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

No, you're just being a plain *******. Don't help me, help yourself.

I don't know it all, I'm giving the specifications on the box dumbass.

500 rms at 4 ohms..

I'm not an invalid confined to a bed.

an o7'er and an o6'er going at it... that's funny right thar...I dont care who you are!

How can I not say this right to people? Here's what's on the speakers.
First coil + (2 ohms)

First coil - (2 ohms)

Second coil + (2 ohms)

Second coil - (2 ohms)

Rms at 4 ohms is 500...not 3
if it says what ur saying, then your subs are dual 2ohm

I'm not trying to argue, if he doesn't wanna help fine. If others feel interested, well thank you so much for helping, sincerely.

I think some kids on here need to cool their jets instead of saying. "you're stupid and don't know how to hook up an amp".

Ok I'll write that down and make sure not to forget it.

I've been helped before and was trying to say my subs go from 4 ohm, to 2 ohm, to .5 ohms.

Are your subs Dual 2 ohm or Dual 4ohm...look on the speaker itself on the magnet, basket or whatever for a model number cause like the guy before said, you dont understand Ohms...

how is that box specs?

what does an invalid confined to a bed have to do with anything?

CAMRY gave you your options. it sucks when you have to wire your amp in different ohms, resulting in massive loss of power than you would achieve at desired impedance. those are your options. next time, be smart BEFORE you buy..if you have an amp, buy subs that will work with it. if you have subs, buy an amp that will work with it. words of wisdom.

EDIT: and i never said you were stupid you didnt know how to hook up an amp. dont get all offended.

your post is rather confusing. How many 15'' L7s do you have?

if you have 2, you can wire them like this:

if you only have one 15'' L7, you can two things :

take the chance and run your amp @ 1ohm, and hope you get enough box rise to get 2ohms :

or

run your amp at 4ohms, giving that sub 500watts
