How good is a JL Audio 10W7 in a Power Wedge enclosure?

your putting words in my mouth, as well. i never stated that the power wedge was a bad buy... as you said- for those without the time and skill it takes to required to build a correct box. it may be ok. my issue is this- i make post stating the w7's do not sound that great (as is my personal belief, which i obtained through actually hearing 5-7 set-ups using them, and alot of audiophiles agree with me on this), you come in, acting like your some high end audiophile with 10+ years of experience, saying that its a power issue, which is totally vaugue, (and also most likely incorrect) I make a post calling you out on this, because it is for the most part, WRONG. you get all butt-hurt over words that were never said... this statement tells me i shouldn't listen to anything you say the w7's in the right setup have been both louder and better SQ than tc, adire, alpine, RF, MTX, for just about everything i've heard ....i've heard a better setup of JL before

you are also an ******* who doesn't care about learning the truth about the best concepts of car audio because if you did, you'd have responded with a casual objection then explain your point not give an ******* responce like "your an idiot" and then refer to a product of lesser quality based on others peoples' experience and the price of the subs you can talk shit about w7's untill you've heard them more and in the right setups, and if any of your friends are like you the setups you heard weren't right... if you think the power wedge is shitty, basically the box with the w7 sounds amazing no-matter where it is, you have the right to preffer other products but you can't shit talk stuff you know nothing about, esspecially online.... it's like running the special olympics

you are doubley an ******* with that false sig.... my system WILL be 4 10's on (1) 1000/1 and another 1000/1 on the 13... but right now i don't have the amps yet and that POS sony amp is only on the 13... the 10's are just sittin there... in addition the quote is not refering to my setup, it is talking about jl products in general... my substage is currently only setup so that i have a substage and not what it will be when i'm finished if you were interested which i know your not cause the only thing your concered with is "flaming" and "pwning" and calling people "NOOBS"...

the basic fact of this forum and thread is that the people that have more experience with JL systems or other high quallity systems tend to like them while the people who have more experience in the 2nd rate off brand shit don't know any better... and automatically down it... besides that the statement about the systems you've heard... most people who get jl subs either don't get jl amps or underpower them they take more easily than the recommendations describe as "optimal" esspecially in a sealed enclosure which is what most dealers will recomend for the w7 since you don't really have to worry about getting enough output from them
