how does this setup sound?

(2) 12" Rockford Fosgate P3's, 3/4" MDF ported box, SSL 2000 watt amp, 2 Farad capacitor, and 2/0 gauge wiring. in a 2007 Jeep Liberty
if this was your setup, and hypthetically a "man on a budget", what would you do differently? or leave the setup as is?
if that was in my car id throw it out the window as i drove over a very tall bridge.

If I lived in Binghamton, NY I'd probably jump off a very tall bridge
well....why not? all the other city scum moved up here. thats why its gone to hell.

i dont actually live in binghamton. i live about 20 miles away in the middle of nowhere. its only white people out here because...........well im not gonna cenfess to anything on a public website.

Woooooo 2 40amp fuses on a 2000rms amp... Hmmmm let me do some math........ NM not worth the time.. But just to give u an idea on a good day and some help from that so called God we have in the sky it might do 700watts and thats a big MIGHT...
Not to beat a dead horse but those subs, box and amp are just flat out POS....
You are giving wayy too much credit...I saw 2 Soundstorm "SSL 2000"s...Both A/AB and one with 40amp fusing, the other with 50 amp fusing...best case scenario = 50 amp fusing. Cheap A/b efficiency = 60% on a good day.

14.4v * 50a = 720w * .60= 432w

Let's say around 150 max USED
You're not gonna find much of anything worth while for that price. I linked you the AQ1200 amp which is $270 brand new: AQ1200D Amplifier

It'll be pretty efficient, and do more than 1200w. I've seen a few really good amps around $200-250 used. And some really great amps at $300 used. Here's a few on the lower tier of your price range. And some that are a bit higher, but you could probably offer less and save a little more money.

Here's an amp I've owned personally and can attest to it's great value. I'd offer $210 shipped though: http://www.caraudio.com/forums/amplifier-classifieds/550050-elemental-designs-nine-1-a.html

I'd offer $250 shipped on this. Hell of an amp, very underrated. One of the best brands in the game: Sax-1200d - Car Audio Classifieds

These are supposed to be quite good too. It's their "top of the line" tier. DB Drive Okur 1500 Car Audio Classifieds

You're not going to know until you test with a meter. Typically even carpeting a box as opposed to painting is going to lose a few tenths.
