If you have an epicenter I suggest just turning them all the way off. Im pretty sure those beasts put out between 9-15v

Anytime I set gains I do it with everything flat and unaltered. Basically, remove anything that alters the signal from the head unit and then set the gains. After that, use your magical tweaking devices as much as you see fit. Well.. don't be an idiot with it.. but you get what I mean.

yes. the whole point of that knob is to turn up the bass signal. set everything with that knob off or turn it all down to play safe. then turn the knob but like ^^^ dont be stupid with it
