How do YOU secure your box?

lol well i usually had problems like this too..until just recently

i took 3 pieces of 1/8" steel and cut them so they would be an appropriate length. Attached one behind each seat (where it locks in place) and one to a metal bolt underneath the carpet...hasnt moved an inch since

I always bolt my enclosures right to the floor

either bolts thru the bottom of the box with

big washers on the bolts or I build a brackets

out of angle Iron ..one for each side and bolt

it down...

I welded big flat wing bolts to the floor on my last

install and used big 3/8 allan head bolts to bolt

all 4 corners (angle iron brackets) down

if I can find a pic I'll post it

here are the brackets for my last install

the angle Iron went 1/2 way up the rear of the enclosure

and the enclosure sat in it like rails..each corner had a 2"

tab off the end bolted to the floor...

I could lock up the brakes and not have to worry about wearing it

I know it's phsyco looking...the guys at Car Tunes and Toys nick named

it Frankenports....
