How do YOU Secure your box to Your car?

L brackets, but I only screw the bracket to the floor, not the box (since there is no need to). 2 brackets per side and you'll be good. As for security, like a give a crap. The box weighs like 140lbs so good luck to any one person that wants to get that out. And if you know you're going into a bad place, park backwards close to a wall.
Well, that doesnt help for thoes of us that drive trucks.

however i use L Brackets and floor bolts and box + sub weight is pushing 180lbs and its large and akward and i try and park between to cars at all times and both my sub and amp use 3 different screw heads that are uncommon so you practically need a whole **** tool set o remove them and have to sit there for 5min trying to figure out what goes where.

took me 30min to completely remove everything with the help of a buddy and a motercycle jack...and i know exactly what to use. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

that's the same thinking i do bro! most time when i park my car in the parking lot i always park backwards and real close to the car parked behind me or close to the wall.

My neighbors think I'm too careful about my car but I always take 5 min to park my car 3-4 inches from the wall backwards in my car port. It will definately make a box harder to lift.

screw down the box with security screws inside the box, use the security screws for the subs also

that will make for some very confused crooks

i've heard lots of stories of people just breaking the hell out of systems that they couldn't get out, tho

so i'd still keep my car on a short leash

mine goes in the garage at work if i'm going anywhere longer than a few hours without it, i'll just roll with style in the 1993 e250 econoline work van //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

true, but a recone is cheaper than replacing a stolen subwoofer; if they decide to punch a hole through it or something.

i layed a sheet of mdf down in my cargo area and bolted it through the chassis, and my amp rack and box is mounted on top of it with screws and L brackets. i posted pictures before on here if you try searching.
