How do you run actuve throught he head unit + amped rear fill?

Wait, I think I just realized what you are trying to do...

You are wanting to use the amp inside the HU to run the front speakers, and run the subs off of their own amp?

If that is the case, then you are stuck with the HU's processor, unfortunatly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

edit, except for maybe a RF 250.x, but then you would need that and a palm device, and I still am not positive it will do what you need.

whoa... this might be exactly what I need. I just saw that it had a center channel out and I assumed it was a mono output that couldnt be used for anything else

To save some money, look for the PXA-H700 on ebay instead of the H701.

Its the same unit, but it includes the controller, which is a separate option on the 701.

It tends to be a lot cheaper when you can find one.

I run the same way you want to do and it works fine. I run front stage active and daisy chained the 4 channel to a 2 channel amp for the rear fill. I run that amp off a toggle switch so it's only on when I'm playing very loud. Set the HPF on the 2 channel and you're good to go.

I have a loud substage also //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Wait wait wait.
Your going to amp your rear fill and run the fronts off the HU?!

WHY!? You should be doing the opposite!
no... I want to amp them all, fronts active off of a Sundown SAX100.4 and probably pick up a Sundown 100.2 if I can find one for the rears
