how do you mount subs to mdf

hey Im in the process of finalizing my box for my blowthrough,

how would you guys mount your subs in an mdf box, 3/4 in..

I thought I would get some opinions,

id like to know if I should use thick screws, or even better use bolts..

how do you even bolt subs in, my box is already assembled and wont be coming back apart.

You can use nutserts or t-nuts if you want to use machine thread screws. If you want to use wood screws, coarse thread dry walls work well.

It really depends on your tendency to change things. Some guys want to try new subs once a month and others drop their subs in and never look back unless there's a problem. If you're the first guy, use machine threads. If the second, drywalls or deck screws are fine.

EDIT: Oh and, to use nutserts or t-nuts, you just pre drill and install the nuts (different ways but not too difficult to figure out) and that can be done through the existing speaker mounting hole.
