how do you fuse and wire 1/0 to dist block

im confused as too where to fuse everything.

If im running a 1/0 to a dist block that has 2 4 awg outputs and one 8 awg output. Do i run a huge fuse on the 1/0 near the battery and call it good or do i run a fuse near the battery as well after the dist block on each wire that goes out of it.

for example

1/0 out from battery to fuse containing prob like a 240 amp fuse?

4 awg out from block to fuse containing 110 amp for my 1000 watt amp

4 awg out from block to fuse containing 80 amp fuse for my sundown 150.4

8 awg out from block to fuse containing (whatever amperage) for ms8.

Big fuse at the battery. Fused distribution block (or distribution block with separate fuses) for each amp. Without a fuse for each smaller wire if one of them shorted out it could melt before popping the big fuse near the battery.
