so ive heard a few different things... wich way will get u the best connection:yumyum: and wich one do u do:up2somet:

1. running the ground from the ground terms ont he battery

2. running the ground to ur frame

3. running the ground to ur seat.

im #2 but ive heard #1 is the best way to go.

whichever offers the path of least resistance...

however, no matter which path you choose, it all ends up in the same place. the battery is connected to the frame, the seat is conected to the frame which is connected to the battery, the frame is the main ground of the vehicle...

ive always just gone straight to the frame. clear off a spot to attatch the ground and you should be good to go.

The most economical is to run it to the frame...best connection you can get (providing that you test the location with a dmm, and sand off any paint or undercoating that way you get to bare metal) unless you just have wire to waste to run a ground lead all the way back to the negative terminal.

i have heard that if you run the ground to the battery offers less resistance... providing that you use good cable... oxygen free copper... this way the currnet flows through on solid tube.. not from a cable.. through a steelframe (not great for current flow), then through yet another wire to the battery

i would say if you got the cash run the wiring along the frame to the battery

peace

I have my battey and block up front both grounded to the strut tower brace, which is 3/4" steel, have my kenwood amp grounded to the gigantic bolt for the center rear seatbelt buckle under the rear seat, and have my hifonics groudned directly to the 2nd battery, cause it's only ~12" away anyways, and that battery's grounded to some random important looking bolt inside the drivers' side wheelwell, that was unpainted.
