Pioneer avh1400 to a ppi800.4. I want to run 1 set of 6.5 in front and bridge the other channels for a sub. RCA in head unit say front rear and sub. Amp has 1 2 3 4. I have 2 sets of RCA cables ran now just not sure how to go about it. Thanks in advance , I know this has been asked 1000 times before.

read manual it even has pictures. if you don't have the manual try google.
The diagram " pictures " didn't give any info on tri mode. Just says tri mode capable. So I thought I might try to find someone that has actually wired one this way but thanks for the very useful and enlightening hints of information.

Your not doing try mode. Read manual again and again till you understand.

Front L & R RCAs go to 1&2 on the amp. Sub RCAs go to 3&4 on the amp.

Wire the subwoofer to the amplifier according to the bridged 2 channel diagram using only channels 3&4.

Set the crossovers on the head unit with a high pass filter for the speakers and a low pass filter for the subwoofer. Set the X-OVER switches on the amplifier to FULL. Input Mode needs to be on 4CH.
