How do I take the door panels off?

What's up caraudio.com, I got a '93 Ford Explorer and I need to remove the door panels so I can change the speakers. How do I do this and what tools do I use? Also how do I run new speaker wire from the amp under the backseat into the front doors? Appreciate the answers.

I don't own an Explorer so I can't tell you. But you could try to find some Explorer forums cause I'm sure they have answers to those questions with just a simple search.

just run the speaker wires from the amp to the deck, and wire in to the stock speaker wires, so you dont have to mess with running it through the door, (can be a pain)

the doorpanels on fords generally are a screw behing the handle, 1 under the window switches and one near the top of the door. Once their all out just lift straight up.

Good idea but I'm going to have to bypass the factory amp, and thanks for the replies.

IIRC on my explorer there are only 2 screws near the door handle that you need to remove. Then you basically just pull out the little white clips that hold it in there. After getting out all of them, just lift up and it should come out.
