Use all thread from front to back or a dowel rod

if the box is flexing it means insufficient bracing was used. simply as that. easiest fix would be as stated above - All thread, washers and nuts.

Hmm... never heard of all thread... can I get this from Home Depot? I could use this to drill through my wooden blocks and go all the way through to my box and put a nut on the end of it to mount my box to the floor...

yes it does work. Althread is a metal bar that comes in different sizes. Dowel's similar but made of wood. the althread is stronger

I know what it is, thats how I have my speakers hooked up to my amp through the box, I was just curious what size would be sufficient.

i have 1/2 althread and it does fine as long as its bolted tight
