How do I install this headunit?

So I bought a car with an audio/video system(amp, capacitor, sub, TVs) and it was missing a head unit. And according to the seller, the car was wired for a headunit which in turn is causing the alternator to behave funky(cuts in and out)...and apparently 2 car audio shops told him that the issue is 100% from that. Now that sounded a bit far fetched to me, but I figured that worst case scenario I could just buy an alternator.

But first I wanted to see if that's actually correct. So I bought this used Jensen dvd player...but I am a bit stuck. I took the cover off, and found all the wires, but I'm not 100% sure what goes where.

Here is an album with photos from inside the car and photos from the headunit. I labeled all the wires to make it easier for you to tell me what goes where.

I seem to have a lot more wires going from the unit than I have from the car. So what goes where? I figured out some, but a few I have no idea.

Clip 1 - gray - I figure this matches the single gray clip on the unit

Clip 2- Black - I figure this matches the black clip on the unit

Red 1 - since it's a black wire, I figure this matches the red with the black wire

White 1 - since it's a black wire, I figure this matches the white with the black wire

Red plug - No idea where this goes

Red 2 - No idea, but it's linked with the big black wire that has a bunch of yellows

Red 3 - No idea

Black 1 - has a bunch of yellows linked, so I figure this is a video out going to all the TVs

Black 2 - I think this is the reverse camera cable

Monster - I figure this is the sub

But that leaves a whole lot of wires going from the unit. Do those need to be connected?

If I could get some help, I'd greatly appreciate it

yeah I probably should

also does that whole "alternator not working properly because there is no headunit" sound possible? Or is that probably a load of ****?

Apparently the guy had 2 car audio guys tell him that's the cause...but that just sounds weird. The symptom is that the the battery warning light comes on and off from time to time(meaning the alternator isn't working properly).

yeah I know it should be possible to drive without a headunit...which is why I'm a bit skeptical. But is there any way they could have wired it up to require a head unit?

I don't really know this audio stuff, I mostly got the car because of the engine work and the fact that I got it for half of the kbb value. But it does have a bunch of stuff connected: 2 Visor Monitors, 2 Headrest Monitors, 1 Big Monitor in the trunk, 2 speakers in the trunk(subs?), 2 amps, 2 capacitors...so maybe the capacitors don't work without the headunit or something
