How do i hook up my tweeters.

You dont hook them up you just mount them anywhere. Amplifiers can send wireless signals to tweeters //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

a standard component setup (tweeters and a midbass) with be wired into a crossover, which is then wired into to the headunit.

When going active, its a completely different story (im guessing you wont be doing this).

so, ya better hope there are two wires coming from your tweeter (positive and negative)

i got a 2 channel Amp. and when i run them to my speakers. im thinking i will get to much watts to my tweeters and they will blow. and how i prevent this from happening?

and coulnd you explain cause im very very new at this. thanks

you should have a crossover with them if you bought them as a set.. if not you will run the tweeters to their own channel and set them up that way..

Edit: i see you only have a two channel so if you don't have a crossover you will need one or another amp

Hooking up tweets is simple, it should look something like this when your done.

some tweeters don't show enough impedence to bother with, but u can always just saddle with the front door speakers behind the radio. if you have an aftermarket cd/radio then chances are you'll have a wiring harness as well. hook the pos to the solid colors (white/gray) and the neg to the matching color with the stripe on it (white w/black stripe, gray w/black stripe.)
