how different do they sound?

I guess I should have been more clear. I was talking only about this series of woofers, not all. 2 8" FI Q's would not play as low and loud as a single 18" Q.

kae, that clears it up a little bit. however, i dont know about that comparison between the 8" Qs versus the single 18" Q. im saying this only because they dont make an 8" Q

but with the Q line, yes, the generalization that the larger woofers are going to play lower and louder should be applicale. it appears to be the same motor on all of them, with larger soft parts.
