How come my Comp set comes with 4 passive xovers? Should I go active?

Curious until this day. I have a set of Seas Lotus Ref new verison and the set comes with a xover for mid and highs on each side, what is the purpose of this?

Also, I'm thinking of going active but I'm not sure if my amp has enough power for the mids. Right now its running off 200 x 2 bridged in a passive set up. If i go active the amp is rated 4 x 60w. Will i loose a lot of dynamics?

My set up is as followed:

HU: Eclipse CD7000

Front Stage: Seas Lotus Ref

Amp: DLS A7

Sub: ID MAX V.3 12

Thanks!

i guess thats just the way seas designed their crossovers to have separate xovers for the mids and tweeters.

you might lose some dynamics but you gain control over your speakers. its a give and take type thing with the setup you got.
