Thought.... I assume this guy is kind of a newbee the way it sounds... are you hooking the stuff up or anything? I was thinking you could just get him whatever amp you want and then just set the gains to keep the power down. Otherwise I think my selling him an over rated amp is a good idea!

don't the W7's have a weird voice coil? like a single 3ohm coils or something?

it's a two channel but it is "blingy" and will probably never put even 1Kw rms to each sub...

If it were true watts you would be in an amp well over a couple grand, need a HO Alternater etc to get the current. need special wire and cable etc. It isnt just that easy was my point. Im running 2K true watts RMS and Im over 1100.00 just in the Battery, Alt which is custom and wires etc.

not true. im getting about 5k daily out of my amp and it was much less then a grand. the aqx3500 has been proven to do rated and its only 420. the audioque 3500d.1 does 4300rms and its only 750 brand new

true you will need an upgraded electrical to run it at full power but ive spent maybe $500 on my electrical and it sutains 5kwatt+ burps at about 13.8volts

Even if they are, what STN%? What is the distortion at rated 10-25%? You put those amps your talkin about on a B&K and gauge it, it wont post but maybe half. As far as trolling, I havent done troll fishing for even longer.

Read specs on amps like this or compare apples to oranges.

you got ripped off. my 300amp alternater was under $300.

were you talking about the amps i mentioned. I hope not. the audioque has been proven to do rated. that audiopipe aqx3500 has been proven to do atleast rated. and my amp i clamped at 5700ish @ .7ohms
