hey i still havent got anyone that know how to install chips i bought a Xecuter X3 CE Modchip for Xbox and i need to know if its solderless or if i have to buy Xapt3r Solderless Adapter? does anyone know? and im curious what all this chip will do? i want to be able to save whole games onto my hard drive and save dvds also. does anyone know what this chip is capable of?

Modded xbox = swapping out the harddrive for a larger one, switching out the Dvd drive for one that can read CD-r data, Play burnt copies of original games, play games saved to the hard drive, install programs like MP3 players, DIVX players, Upgrade the DashBoard to a customized picture...

Mainly playing copied games burnt on DVD-R discs...

Installing a jumper switch will still allow online play, by booting up to the original bios...

last I heard live was tied to serial number on harddrive... but i've been told wrong before. I have about 10 friends who have moded boxes. Pretty killer if you ask me... also allows you to mod games (alien sniper in halo 1, modded levels, ***** women in doa vball..), and a whole heap of shit. Most of my buds have every RvB on their boxes and a couple of movies/games. As for installing, I have to see it myself. Not too familiar with that one.. try just dropping it in (can't hurt anything if you don't apply too much pressure, either it fits or not)

im still not understanding this does the modchip make it so i can use burnt games? or do i have to order a specail laser? does anyone know how many games a xbox hard drive will hold?
