ok my question is, can 4 sa 12's fit it the face of my box is 49x20. I think the outside gasket on a sa12 is 12 1/2 so side by side that would be 50 inches puls the 3/4 on wood on both sides. but since its 20 inches high can I stagger them and make them fit like the pic below

Fire the woofers up...
hey do you mind drawing me up a box for 4 sa12's. I have 49 inches to work with in width. trying to keep it around 7 cubes not counting the port. ill be running about 1000 to each sub. its going in the rear of a 2010 Tahoe with no 3rd row seats

this is what I have now

yea like buck said i would do subs up & port back, especially in a SUV. Sub up/ port back is a more proven design to yield better results in a SUV/hatch in most cases.. If your pressed for space try using a aeroport(s) instead of a slot port, it will save you some space.

Screw it I just did it anyway lol... 6 cubes net, 4" wide by 12.5" tall port 13.25" long (tuned to 34ish)

If you want me to show you another cube bigger it'd only take me 30 sec. One advantage of having SolidWorks at my disposal

dude, that is sweet, I may just hit you up on that. I just wander at that angle if the motors would touch
Maybe but I don't really think so. You could invert the middle two, that'd be cool anyway. But it's still only if you don't want to go subs up port back. That's still going to be the easiest and probably loudest option

Send me a pm if you need more measurements

No problem. The Dayton ultimax is one of the better sounding sealed subs I’ve heard. I kinda want to try the 18 in my ride.

It is an L port. You might as well add three 45's. Add one by the leg of the L and the two that I showed you in my other post.
