How are Alpine Type R's?

I was thinking about either getting 1 Alpine 12 or 2 Alpine 12s for my Kicker ZX 750.1 amp? Should I get both, or just get one? And do I have enough power to power these subs with my amp? How do these subs sound? SQ and SPL?

better in which way.....not at getting loud which im betting is what OP wants.

OP you could power one of them ok with that amp get the dual 2 ohm wire in parallel and check with a dmm what the final impedence is....especially after box is built and sub is mounted....thats what your amp would finally see. not what they are rated at...
