Hooking up a 10 to factory amp???

I've got an 06 civic EX with a factory amp in it, and I just noticed that the factory 8" woofer is a 2ohm woofer

I've got a Kicker Comp 10 in a box, one of the truck boxes, and it does okay for what it is - do you think that the Comp 10(4ohm) would be louder than the 8??

Well I know it's sutpid but I'm assuming the factory amp is giving the sub around 50watts lol, so the 10 would get, relatively speaking, half of that

I dont really think it's worth it

Because I'm doing a complete install in the enxt month or so, I was just curious if I could put that little 10 to use without running a temporary amp kit lol

I've got a little 200w amp sitting beside me, a US Acoustics lol but I dont wanna take the time to run everything just for it to be temporary and take the chance of breaking shit, ya know?

ya i hear ya.. i hooked up 1 of my cvrs just for temporary use yesterday.. im lazy when it come to runnin wires and shit most of the time lol
