Hooking some misc. car audio up to a home computer/outlet?
@goingdef,

The problem is I have one measily 10" woofer that I want to make use of in my room, not a bunch of woofers.
well on a serious note look on cl and find a cheap powered sub gut the plate amp out of it and install it in the enclosure you have for the 10 you have it will be the safest way to do this and if you haggle you can probably walk away pretty cheap.

yup...something like this:

Dayton Audio SPA250 250 Watt Subwoofer Amplifier 300-803

it does rated..port it and get decent bass

it can get just as addictive as the car..lol..I got a Yammy 218 cab in my living room on a 2400 watt Qsc RMX 2450 ..lol

LOL..don't you think they would clash with the Obama stickers?...perhaps if you moved them to the front windshield and put them on either side of the Power Acoustik banner? yea, that might look cool!
See, we could be having so much fun, but some dick had to go and shut down our religious conversational playground. And yes I do run only the best. Obama Acoustik Audio FTW!
