well on a serious note look on cl and find a cheap powered sub gut the plate amp out of it and install it in the enclosure you have for the 10 you have it will be the safest way to do this and if you haggle you can probably walk away pretty cheap.

it does rated..port it and get decent bass

it can get just as addictive as the car..lol..I got a Yammy 218 cab in my living room on a 2400 watt Qsc RMX 2450 ..lol

I've been thinking about doing something similar. Use one PSU to run a headunit powering 2-4 components and then another PSU powering amp for a sub

we're just trolling you, but uhh, yeah, easiest and safest way, is to buy a used power amp from a music store or something, get some signal/speaker cables, and a mixer.
