I am trying to wire up a 5 farad capacitor to two amps, one that is 3200w rms and the other is about 50x4w rms. How do I do this? Also, I read somewhere that you are supposed to charge the capacitor first before you connect it to the 12v battery supply, is this true and how do I go about doing this? Wouldnt you just wire it all in parallel? Pos to pos and negs to negs? And to charge it just connect it to your battery until you get your desired voltage.

Step 1) Take it out of the package

Step 2) Walk to the nearest trash bin

Step 3) Deposit cap in bin

Ok, I'm reading the specs on my hifonics xxv colossus amp and it is recommeding an inline fuse with at least 300amps, would it be safe to run that and my highs amp that is 50wx5 rms along with the 3200wx1 amp? If not, where can I find a bigger inline fuse? Also, wouldn't I run my power in this sequence, battery to inline fuse, to distribution block to cap to sub amp and distribution block to highs amp?
