Hooked my components back up and no sound...wtf?

if your amp is getting power, its not the remote wire.
So, the amp is running fine? its on, no funny sounds or anything?

The amp is either not receiving signal, or something in the amp is bad (blown channels maybe?)

When you installed this, im guessing you disconnected your battery? Did your headunit settings reset? Does your headunit require you to turn on the RCA output?

Amp is getting power.

No funny sounds. It ran fine the last time I had it installed, besides one channel wasn't putting out the power the other was for some reason.

Battery was disconnected, nothing on the headunit affects it.

wally world has them for ~$15

and a few questions for joo

does the power indicator light come on? should be on the side of the amp, its gonna be green (power) or red (protect)

is the light dim?

have you checked the fuses on you main power wire? could have been shorted and blown a fuse when your stuffz was jacked yo

have you pulled your headunit yet? could have been a fuse on it that got blown in the same way teh power wire's fuse could have

you got a spare speaker you can hook up right at the amp? if it doesnt play at the amp then its an rca problem, as long as the amp is powering on

when ur sh1t got jacked they probably screwed the RCA`s up i'd start there

is ur power wire grounding out? doubt it maybe speaker wire touching? if not ur amp is done

An RCA post had broken off in the RCA port and I bought another amp to replace the Orion since one of the channels wasn't putting out as much as the other. I took the amp apart and popped the RCA plug out of the port a few weeks ago..

I guess i messed something up then. The status light was red as soon as i hooked it up today. I forgot it was supposed to be green.
