I just finished up a 1999 chevy blazer that i bought brand new but had no subs in it or amps..so i modified it...i unscrewed it apart..took some measurements and made a small prefab box to fit inside..its a 1:24 scale diecast...the sub box is only about 1"Hx1.75"Lx1"D...yeah i have too much time on my hands..but its a new hobby of mine with my free time late at night...anyway...i use balsal wood..easy to cut and to break apart and shave excess and stuff...i even get a little crazy and put some small wiring in there too..dont know what guage..like model train wires...with some color to mark in the subs and amps it looks neat..man i gotta get some pics of it on here...i just make sure all the doors and hatches open so people can look inside..and by the way i get these diecast pretty cheap and the wood is like $3 to do the whole project per car...right now i am working on a late model range rover discovery...i will put in a wall with 4 15's to scale..lol..this sounds funny...i cut out the back 2 rows of seats and you get the idea...just in the process of cleaning up and screw it all together...oh yeah and the blazer has 3 12's in it facing up...hope this fits general discussion...i only do SUV..so much room to work with....well thats about it..thanks for reading...its just a hobby for fun and killin time and nights
