I have a Magnavox home Theater DVD combo. I rarely used the DVD player but now it does not play regular DVD's, or CD's it will only Play DVD's OR CD's that i have down loaded from my computer (or any other Bootleg cd or dvd) any suggestions????? Someone please help i am tired of using my PS3 or a whole different DVD player when i have one right there!!!

I think he means actually cleaning the player's laser physically. Im not exactly sure if how i've done it is how you are suppose to, but i used a ear cotton swab and some rubbing alchohol to clean off the lense before..It worked on a ps2 of mine.

I tried that and have done that with other DVD players b4, but the inside of this thing is crazy where the laser is it is almost impossible 2 get 2. I hate to use my PS3 for movies

Try using caned air..

use it for Blue ray when i rent them but regular DVD's i dont. i did not use my ps2 for that either. i just like to keep it simple only madden in my ps3 lmao . every once in a while i will play other games. Oh i am too cheap to buy a ps3 remote
