Hollywood Sound Labs are from the 90s, they were pretty decent back then but now they have become more of an el cheapo. Not sure if they have a new line coming out or not but they'll have a hard time staying in the business with the market being what it is right now.

Man this trend is so funny and it brings back memories of when I first joined this forum back in 02'.....I dared trying to recommend the Excursion series subs to a member that was looking for a good budget sub and boy did I get blasted from all the forum fav nut-hugger back then, I never knew what getting flamed was until then hehehe....I still have a pair of the 1280d's in my system in my home office and I also have a pair of their RS series 6 1/2 components.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

hate to bump this old thread up, but my gf recently bought a used car and in the trunk was an orion cobalt cs150.2 and a 12" Hollywood sub, and it looks EXACTLY like the ones shown, minus having the green surround.
