Hole Cutting

Depending on the size of the hole, you can easily use a holesaw bit on your drill to do sizes up to 4", anything larger and you can use a jigsaw, or if your anal about quality/asthetics, use a plunge router. Look on harborfreight.com for cheap prices on hand tools.

They are that cheap?...
I went to Home Depot and the cheapest I could find it was $80
Yeah they are that cheap. Sears has Bosch and Craftman ones for $40. I saw the cheapest ones for $20-30 at Menards. edit: also a place called Crafty Beaver was selling em for $20, don't know if you have those in FL.

sux that Home Depot and Lowes don't have specialty items like a circle jig and large enough router for 12's and 15's //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Harbor Frieght tools is very cheap. But don't expect a QUALITY tool for that cheap. They are located here in Diego...
for him to cut out some simple circles how much should he have to pay.

Looking at what the guys said, he obviously hasnt needed one til this point, so i would think he would want something cheap to cut the hole, being that he probably wont use it much.

I have several hand tools from HF that have lasted me quite some time. One is a 4" grinder that I have used alot for fabrication work on my Jeep's bumpers, roll cage, and tube fenders. It was on sale for $14.99, and definately worth its money from the very first project I used it on.

circle jig, no... large enough router? What? I cut my speaker holes for 12's with a router from home depot... unless you want a 12 inch router bit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
