HK4000 run @ 1 ohm?

I am getting an hk4000 and was wondering if it will run at 1ohm at all without doing any mods? From what I understand you have to mod it is this correct? How do you go about doing it? Which resistors do you have to remove?

there only 2 ohm stable i tried hk2000's at 1 ohm and after a little while (about 30 min) they went into protect mode so I wouldnt reccomend as for modding them i'm not sure but id also like to know how to do it
