I see both sides
1- He had thoughts of leaving, by saying that "it was still dark and no one saw...BUT I still left a note..."

2- He did leave his name and number afterall

I see it as he is explaining the story with full detail. Saying that he could have, but he didnt think of it. Saying he didnt have to, but still left the note. I didnt see it as he was considering hit and run.

Well next day, still no call. My car has at least 3 serious dents from ppl doing that to me, so thats why I left my name and number.

Anyone calling me shady for at least thinking i could get away with it is full of shit, idc who u r, all the options at least run thru ur head.

And I've been told I'm honest to a fault lol, so i hope this doesnt come back to bite me like it usually does.

An I'm a pretty good driver, but it was me just waking up, an Im not used to ppl parking there.

I admit, i should have paid attention, i kicked my *** over it all day at work, but mistakes happen, and Im trying to rectify it

Well, I wouldn't go down chasing the guy to ask him, lol! Then I am sure you would have to take care of the situation. Maybe the guy just don't care, I don't know. Leave it alone though. You have done your part, leave it in his hands now.

I took pics of the minor damage with my cell phone (headlights illuminating the area), then left a note with my name and number on it... never heard a word. Lucky me.

I too have been the recipient of a hit and run... in my case, the cops were able to track down the person due to a neighbor getting their license plate.
