i don't understand why YOU pay for YOUR insurance, and some fck who doesn't have ANY insurance hits YOU and somehow YOUR insurance doesn't cover YOUR vehicle...

insurance is a scam. for the most part anyway. im sure ive paid and will continue to pay 20x what this claim will cost them.

and my deductible is so high because im cheap and a decent driver and havent had a wreck in forever so i decided i didnt need to pay the extra money for the lower deductible. i just did that about 4 months ago. fck me. and this wasnt even my fcking fault. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

It's called liability insurance. You pay bare minimum in case you hit someone else, and when they go to sue you they are really suing the insurance company. Full coverage and low deductible FTW. In some areas not having full coverage is plain stupid, especially if you park on the side of the road.

Probably has a higher deductible to save money on his monthly premium.

thanks, and yes it does, i love my truck.

and actually it was in a parking lot, at the end of the lot, not sure exactly how it happened, just that it happened.

LOL one of my best friends moms TOTALED a parked car while diving on a residential street in a ford explorer.. The look on the fathers face when we told him, lmao priceless. He was like SHE TOTALED A PARKED CAR?? And the car was 3/4 the way in the driveway..

Reason why I pay a decent amount of chedder to my insurance.....well 105 a month, but I have a 250 dollar deductable, full coverage on two cars, one is newish and one is a 98 and that includes my renters insurance to boot.

everything is good, the shop i went to said i dont have to pay the 1k, they will just take it from the insurance company, shop has been in business for 30+ years and has awards from heatwave and a lot of trucks in the mini truckin magazine so i feel comfortable, he also warranties for 5 years. im getting a few other things taken care of at the same time.
