HIGHLY Efficient Subs?

Well, I've already bought my setup

But I dont know if it's worth the pain in the *** it's going to be to do it

I may jsut sell my 1200d, my 4002, my SE 15's, and get a single 12 ported, a 5 chan amp with a comp set and coaxes in the back lol

Stupid yes, but I just cant decide if it's going to be worth it to have my car rattle to hell.

define highly efficient. You gain in one area, you lose in another.

For the most part though, the IDMAX does pretty well with little power.

i love single sub setups and 5-6 channel amps lol...but if it did come down to it i'd sell the 1200d and the 15s and keep the 4002 to put on a comp set then buy a new amp and sub with the money from the 1200d n ses

treo tsi is a great sub. extremely efficient and sound great. they also get way loud with little power. they would love the 400 watts. find one at a dealer and listen to them

Will consider the Treo's, local shop about an hour away carries it

I really want to keep the setup I personally have, but there's just so much more G-dang money I have to invest to get it done

Install alone is gonna be a good 500 bucks if not a tad more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Plus I still have to get my 791 viper alarm, My comp set, and my HU lol, go figure

treo make a great product. listen to them, it cant hurt. the tsi can be had for about 100-150 bucks new from a dealer depending on sizes. i guarantee you wont be dissapointed. dont let the price discourage you.

im saving my money for 2 rlp's im going to run with 400 watts each.
You will enjoy it. Mine is getting around 450. Its great.

The Rl-p is definitly a good low power coice!!

Undercover hit it right on too, 400 watts really is a lot. Any fool with partial knowledge can make something loud with 1000+ watts. I find the fun in trying to be loud with little power and having people surprised by it.

system im build for my roommate wangs pretty well. First stereo to set my alarm off. And only cost about $150. All it is, is 2 Kicker Comp 10s in a ported box and an MTX 421D. People do have the misconseption that power = LOUD. Install = LOUD //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
