ok i have 2 jl audio 13w6 subwoofers which have a rms continuous rating of 500 watts each(but we all know they can handle more).i had 2 12w3's previously in jl's h.o. ported box that slammed,but i heard my friends 2 12w0's in a sealed box and they sounded more clearer,but you really coudn't hear him coming like u could hear me.here is my question>>>should i get a custom h.o. box made for my 2 13's by an authorized jl dealer>(priced that it will cost $300 for an h.o .ported box),or should i just get a sealed enclosure and which do you think is better between a sealed and ported enclosure?????i have a clarion dxz945mp.but might get the dxz955mc soon as my head unit,a set of jl 6x9 vr690's/one set of jl xr653-cs speakers/one jl 300/4 amp/one jl 1000/1 mono amp for the subs/and one set of 4 inch jl speakers for the front.do you guys think i have enough component speakers?or do you think my subs will drown out my highs and mids??please help!!!oh yeah one other thing has anyone heard of "NATIONS STARTERS AND ALTERNATORS"?I BOUGHT A 200 AMP ALTERNATOR FOR $390.00 FOR MY OTHER OLDS NINETY EIGHT FROM THEM BUT IT WOULDN'T FIT,TOLD NATIONSYEAH RIGHT!!DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THEY'RE ALTERNATORS ARE ANY GOOD?THEY'RE ALL DUAL RECTIFIED ALTERNATORS ALSO FROM NATIONS STARTERS AND ALTERNATORS.!!
